9. Light Kit Assembly (Optional).

If you wish to use the light kit

, remove 1 screw

from motor plate on underside of motor
housing and partially loosen the other 2 screws.
Align slotted holes in center of fitter plate with
loosened screws in motor plate, allowing
female plug from motor housing to come
through hole in middle of fitter plate. Twist
fitter plate to lock. Re-insert screw that was just
removed and securely tighten all 3 screws with
a Phillips screwdriver.

Remove 1 screw from underside of fitter plate
and partially loosen the other 2 screws.

Connect female plug from motor housing to
male plug from LED light kit, matching up the
colors on the male plug with the colors on the
female plug for correct fit. Be sure that plugs
connect securely. [

NOTE:

 If you will NOT be

using the light kit, do NOT connect the plugs.]

WARNING

:  To reduce the risk of serious bodily injury,

DO NOT use power tools to assemble the blades. If
overtightened, blades may crack and break.

Locate 6 blade screws, lock washers and flat washers
in one of the hardware packs. Place 1 lock washer and
1 flat washer (

in that order

) on a blade screw. Repeat

for each blade screw.

Turn blade so that the WIDE, DEEP holes for the blade
screws are turned toward the floor. Raise blade to
motor, aligning holes in blade with corresponding
holes in motor. Partially insert
2 blade screws (along with the lock washers and flat
washers).

Before securing screws permanently,

repeat

procedure for remaining blades. Securely tighten all
screws only after all 3 blades have been attached.

Note

: Tighten blade screws twice a year.
