4.4.1
Copper bar grounding
1.
Unplug the “
” waterproof stopper at the bottom of the device.
2.
Connect the grounding cable led from outside to the grounding copper
bar through the “
” waterproof terminal.
3.
Strip the cable jacket with a wire stripper.
4.
Secure the cable to the GND terminal, and secure it with a fastening
torque of
2±0.2 N·m.
4.4.2
RS485 Communication Terminal Connection
1.
Unscrew the "RS485" waterproof stopper at the bottom of the device.
2.
Connect the RS485 cable led from outside to the communication
terminal inside the device through the "RS485" waterproof terminal.
3.
Strip the cable jacket with a wire stripper.
4.
Connect the cable to the corresponding terminal and secure it with a
screwdriver with a fastening torque between 0.5N·m and 0.6 N·m.
4.4.3
Antenna Connection
1.
Unscrew the "Antenna" waterproof stopper at the bottom of the device.
2.
Connect the Antenna cable led from outside to the intelligent gateway
terminal inside the device through the "Antenna" waterproof terminal.
3.
Strip the cable jacket with a wire stripper.
4.
Connect the cable to the corresponding terminal and secure it with a
screwdriver with a fastening torque between 0.5N·m and 0.6 N·m.
4.4.4
AC Input Power Connection
1.
Unplug the "AC" waterproof stopper at the bottom of the device.
2.
Lead two phases from transformer low voltage side to the fuse terminal
inside the device through the "AC" waterproof terminal. Refer to section
2.6 Schematic Diagram and Circuit Design for more information.
3.
Strip the cable with a wire stripper and crimp the cord end terminal.
4.
Connect the cord end terminal to the corresponding terminal and secure
it with a screwdriver with a fastening torque of 2.8N·m.
Cable Connection Notices for Joints and Seals
Conduit (3) and fastening heads (2) are recommended to seal cable connections of
the AC-PLC KIT (1). Cables shall run into the AC-PLC KIT through the conduit. Next,
tighten these fastening heads and connect the cables to their correct terminals
according to above mentioned methods.
