After the child seat is properly secured into the car seat, press the
side impact protection button nearest the door. The other side
impact protection button may also be pressed at this time. ( When
using the child car seat, the side impact protection nearest the
door must be opened ).

Closing the side impact protection
Press and hold the side impact protection button 14 with one hand,
press the side impact protection 13 with the other hand and then
push inwards to close the side impact protection.
