PROCEDURE FOR RAISING AND

LOWERING THE DECK FOR

SERVICING

13. FLIPPING UP THE DECK:

A

.

Park mower on hard flat surface.

B.

To remove the tension of the deck belt
carefully rotate the RELEASE

HANDLE on the left side of the deck
From straight forward to straight back.

C.

Position the deck in the lowest notch.

While holding the DECK LIFT HANDLE,
move the SAFETY STOP to the left with
your other hand, and push the DECK
LIFT HANDLE all the way down, then
release The SAFETY STOP.

D.

Reach under the engine and remove

The deck drive belt from the clutch.

CAUTION

DECK LIFT HANDLE IS SPRING LOADED

UNDER TENSION WHEN DECK IS

DISCONNECTED INTO FLIP UP MODE,

OR REMOVED FROM TRACTOR.
