3. General use guidelines
Start by reading the instructions on the label of the polish.
1. Unplug the angle polisher. Attach a clean polishing sponge.
2. Spread polish evenly onto the polishing sponge. Do NOT spread polish onto the
surface to be polished.
3. Always start and stop the polisher when the polishing sponge is resting on or
against the surface to be polished.
4. Hang the mains lead over your shoulder and begin by polishing flat surfaces such
as the car bonnet, boot or roof. Allow the polisher to glide across the surface
is broad sweeping strokes and keep the head in motion. Do NOT press down
on the polisher. It is easy to burn your lacquer or paint if you apply too much
pressure of keep the polisher in the same place too long.
5. Next, work on smaller surfaces such as car doors.
6. Less accessible components such as wing mirrors and door handles should be
polished by hand.
