Troubleshooting guide
The flame effect
doesn’t come on.
• Is the power switch set to ON (I)?
• Is the mains lead intact and properly plugged into
the wall socket?
• Is the wall socket live?
The fan heater
does not start.
• Is the power switch set to ON (I)?
• Is the power setting I switch pressed in?
• Are the power setting switches I and II pressed in?
• Has the thermostat turned off the fan heater?
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise.
• Is the mains lead intact and properly plugged into
the wall socket?
• Is the wall socket live?
• The overheating protection has tripped. Reset as instructed
in the
Overheating protection
section.
The fan heater
starts but stops
after a short time.
• The thermostat is set to a lower temperature than the current
room temperature. Check the thermostat setting.
