Protective equipment such as covers, supports, clamps, protective eyeglasses, dust filters, and ear plugs cannot
compensate for poor judgment, carelessness, or lack of attention.

Remember: You are responsible for your own safety. The saw has been designed for specific tasks. We strongly
recommend that you do not modify the saw or use it for anything other than the tasks it is intended for.

DO NOT USE THE SAW if you are uncertain if it can or should be used for the purpose you have intended.
General safety instructions
Portable Power Tools
Caution: When using electric tools, the following safety rules should always be adhered to in order to avoid the
risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury:
1. Keep the work area clean.
Cluttered surfaces and tables may cause accidents.
2. Do not use the machine in a hazardous environment.
Do not expose the tool to rain; do not use them in damp or wet areas. Keep the work area well lit. Do not use the
tools close to flammable fluids or gases.
3. Avoid electric shock.
Avoid physical contact with grounded items such as water lines, radiators, kitchen stoves, etc. while using electric
tool.
4. Keep away from children and spectators.
All children and visitors should be at a safe distance from electric tool or electric cables in the work area.
5. Store the machine out of the reach of children.
Store electric machines/tools locked up or out of the reach of children while not in use.
6. Do not force the machine.
It will do the job better and safer at the intended feeding speed.
7. Use the appropriate tools.
Do not force a tool or an attachment to perform a task it is not intended for.
8. Wear appropriate clothing.
No loose fitting clothes, mittens, necklaces, rings, bracelets, or other jewellery that may become entangled in
rotating parts. Non-slip shoes are recommended. Wear a hairnet or similar if your hair is long.
9. Always wear protective equipment.
Always wear protective eyeglasses, regular eyeglasses are insufficient. Also use dust filters or a protective masks
when performing dusty tasks.
10. Use suction.
Use suction equipment to remove and collect sawdust and wood shavings, if the machine is intended for this
purpose, and make sure that the equipment is used correctly and emptied as needed.
Caution:
Sawdust and shavings from certain kinds of wood and wood products may be harmful to your health after
only a short period of exposure.
11. Do not misuse the power cord.
Never carry the machine in its cord. Do not pull the cord; instead unplug the device when turning off the power.
Make sure that the cord does not come in contact with heat, oil, or sharp edges.
12. Fasten the work piece securely.
