USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure light set is not connected to power before starting assembly.
2. Keep wires from being pinched or cut during assembly, installation or use. Discard products with cut wires.
3. Do not press or grasp bulbs during assembly or installation.
4. This is not a toy. For adult use only. It should not be played with or placed where children can reach it.
5. Make sure stakes are clear of underground sprinkler lines, underground telephone lines, and underground power
lines before starting.
6. The external flexible cable or cord of this lighting chain cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the lighting chain
shall be destroyed.
7. The bulbs of this lighting chain cannot be replaced.
8. Please read all instructions and warnings included with this product before using.
ASSEMBLY
1. Carefully remove all pieces from the carton. Compare parts with the parts list to confirm all parts are present.
2. Assemble the two base pieces and place them on the floor. Place the base cap over the center of the two base pieces.
Secure the base cap using washers and screws. Tighten with allen wrench and cover with screw caps. When possible,
install included ground stakes when used outdoors.
3. Install the trunk over the bottom base. Tighten trunk screw.
4. Insert the top branch into the top-center connector on the trunk. Insert the five lower branches into the five
remaining connectors on the trunk. Be sure to align the branches so that the branch screws face the ground and shape
branch tips
5. Connect power connectors between branches and trunk but lining up pins and tightening the screw ring on the
connector, and connect the cord to the power adaptor. If desired, use plastic ties to secure the excess wire to the
branches, creating a cleaner look.
6. Plug the power adaptor into a socket that is equipped with GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). If a GFCI socket
is not available, contact a certified electrician to have one installed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Make sure there is 120V AC power to the outlet and the product is plugged in.
2. Make sure lights are connected to the adaptor and make sure the connector is fully inserted into the adaptor and is
tight. Also check the branch connectors if an individual branch is out.
3. Remove the connector from adaptor, clean contacts and reinstall.
4. Check if the unit is plugged into an outlet controlled by a dimmer or electronic timer. The blossom tree will not
work on these circuits. Use a standard outlet.
5. If connected to a GFCI-controlled outlet, reset the GFCI.
6. Check for broken wires or connections.
USER MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
For best performance, install the item on a flat and level surface. Do not install on a rooftop or hillside. For use
indoors and outdoors. Store unit in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight. Avoid stacking assembled items to
avoid bulb breakage or other damage. Make sure all plugs and cords are well-protected from being cut, crushed, or
otherwise damaged. Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged
or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the bulb holders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper
wire.
