Assembling the Bed
2.2.1
Connecting the Lifting Plates on Each Frame
1.
Remove the clevis and cotter pins from the U-shaped bracket on both sides of the
drive shaft at foot section.
2.
Align the U-shaped bracket with the holes on the lifting plate and insert the clevis
pin through the mounting hole.
3.
Secure the clevis pin with cotter pin. Repeat Step 2 and 3 on the other side.
4.
Repeat the procedure on the head section.
2.2.2
Connecting the Two Frames
1.
Temporarily remove the bolts and nuts in the middle joint of the foot frame.
2.
Place both frames on its sides at approximately 90° to one another, springs facing
the same side.
