電気泳動槽、ゲルキャスティングトレイには
紫外線透過性樹脂を使用しているので、予め
ゲルに染色液を加えている場合、ゲルを電気
泳動槽から取り出すこと無くトランスイルミ
ネーターでバンドを確認できます。
紫外線から眼、皮膚を保護するためのバイザーやゴー
グルなどを使用してください。
ゲルに染色液を加えていない場合は、ゲル
キャスティングトレイからゲルを取り出し、
必要時間染色してください。
DNA の染色にエチジウムブロマイドを使用する際
は必ずグローブを着用し、皮膚に触れないようにしてく
ださい。
染色後、トランスイルミネーターで観察してくだ
さい。
When staining is completed, observe the result
using transilluminator.
Due to UV (Ultraviolet) light transparency of
Gel electrophoresis tank and Gel casting tray,
the result can be observed using
transilluminator without taking out the gel
from the tank, if staining dye has been added
into the agarose gel when preparing it.
Always wear a visor or approved goggles to help
vision and to protect your eyes and skin from UV light.
If staining dye has not been added into the
agarose gel when preparing it, take out the
gel from Gel casting tray and stain it for
necessary time length.
When using ethidium bromide for DNA staining,
always wear gloves to avoid skin contact.
