2. Placing the bottle
If you have purchased a gas bottle what is prescribed in the supplied list? (page 8). Then you can place the gas
bottle in the Cosidrum. However, this is not mandatory. You can also choose to place the gas bottle outside of
the unit.

Installation of the gas bottle in the Cosidrum
You have to a quarterturn with the top of the Cosidrum.
The top of the Cosidrum is a bayonet mounted which
makes it possible to turn . After lifting the top, a second
person may place the gas cylinder by place the pressure
regulator on the gas cylinder.
Make sure that the hose is always bent down towards the
cylinder. Make sure that the hose is never pushed against
hot surfaces of the appliance. See the figure below for the
guidance of the hose .
Always replace the cylinder with to people, make sure the lid,
ceramic logs and lava stones are complete cooled down before you
lift the top of the model. When you are not using the Cosidrum,
make sure you have always turned off the gas valve of the gas
bottle. This can be done trough the hatch with the “fingerhole” in
the center. Put your hand trough the hole and turn down the valve
of the gas bottle. After this, place the cover back into the recess.

Installation of the gas bottle extern of the Cosidrum
If you want to place the gas bottle outside the Cosidrum, for example because you are using a gas bottle
with more capicity than is specified in the list? Then you can use the gas bottle outside the Cosidrum,
this has to be done in the following way:
1.
Guide the gashose outside the Cosidrum by placing the gashose underneath the pot. See drawing.
2.
The supplied hose is 1.5 m long . Place the gas bottle at a maximum distance of 1 meter from the
Cosidrum. Be carefull by placing the gashose, people and pets can stumble over it. Indeed place
the cylinder therefore always at a place where walking along is not possible and where children
and pets cannot reach.
3.
Connect the gasbottle to the supplied pressure regulator and turn the bottle open if you want to
use. When you are not using the Cosidrum make sure the gas valve on the gas bottle is turned off.
