CO
2
Gas supply
(only valid for soda water unit versions)
The CO
2
-Gas supply is done via an external CO
2
regulator, which is positioned directly at the CO
2
bottle.
The regulator reduces the high primary pressure of approx.
60 bars in the CO
2
bottle (pos.1) down to the secondary
pressure (pos. 2), which is connected to the gas inlet
connection of the unit.
The secondary pressure can be adjusted with the screw at
the regulator (pos.3) between 0 and 7 bar. Turning the
screw clockwise will increase the CO
2
pressure.
The correct value that is to be set is between 3,5 and 4,5
bar.
The regulator is equipped with a safety relief valve (pos.4),
which must be operated at every service visit to ensure
proper function and easy movement.
Between the external regulator and the dispenser a soft
5/16” (8 mm)
outside diameter tubing can be used.
This method ensures a very flexible and easy positioning of the CO
2
bottle.
4.
General Safety Regulations
If used and maintained in accordance with this user manual, the unit will be safe in use. Please comply with
the following safety instructions to avoid hazards and damage.
The unit must be in a satisfactory and safe condition when in operation.

You are obliged to check at least once per day :
that the unit has no external visible faults or defects
that all parts that come into contact with the water and air are cleaned & sanitized
(dispense nozzle & drip tray)

Take care that only authorized persons work on the unit and that the operators are trained. Make
certain that no unauthorized persons change the settings on the unit or tamper with it.
No safety devices (such as safety valves, overload protection units, etc.) are to be removed,
modified or put out of operation
(risk of injury or death !)

Immediately report modifications which affect safety and function to the service company nearest to
you. Discontinue the use of the water dispenser if necessary.

In case you fill carbonated water into bottles, make sure pressure safe bottles are used because of
CO
2
gas pressure.
Note that only original CORNELIUS spare parts and accessories which have been checked and approved
are to be used.
