Wireless DMX Control
The units may be controlled by a lighting desk enabled with a Wireless DMX transmitter (Wireless
Solutions DMX) or CORE Master unit (eg CORE ColourPoint, Point20, Point30, StripPoint etc.).
If the wireless link light (8) on the ColourPoint Mini is flashing this means the unit is paired with a
transmitter which is not switched on or within range. Disconnect from that transmitter by holding
down the W-DMX switch (7) for a few seconds and the link light should extinguish.
To link to a new transmitter simply push the link button on the transmitter unit or CORE Master unit.
The link lights on both the transmitter and ALL unpaired ColourPoint Mini units that are switched on
and within range will flash and will be connected together. Successful pairing is indicated by the link
lights on the ColourPoint Mini units turning solid red.
Now the DMX channel for each unit may be selected within the DMX sub-menu. This allows units to
be controlled independently if on different channels, or together if on the same channel. If
connected to a CORE Master unit, all units will perform the same function and may be connected to
channels 1, 6, 11, 16…. etc. All those channels perform the same function simultaneously and cannot
be separated. For separate and independent operation use a more complex lighting desk and
transmitter arrangement.
Warranty
CORE Lighting Limited (CORE) warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship (subject to the terms set forth in CORE’s terms and conditions available from CORE).
CORE will repair or replace (at CORE's option) this product or any defective parts in this product. The
standard warranty period is 12 months from date of purchase although this period may vary from
country to country. If in doubt consult your dealer and ensure that you retain proof of purchase.
To obtain warranty service, please contact the CORE authorised dealer from which you purchased
this product and show proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice.
Safety
Connection, installation and mounting of this equipment must be performed in
accordance with all local, regional and national safety codes and regulations.
• AVOID direct eye exposure to the light source when illuminated
• TAKE CARE handling the LED head after extended operation. Surfaces get HOT.
• DO NOT submerge this product in water.
• DO NOT hang this product other than by the M10 securing bolt on the base.
• DO NOT leave any flammable material near product whilst operating or charging
• ALWAYS ensure the charger is connected to the specified voltage
• NEVER connect this product or charger to a dimmer pack
• DO NOT operate this fixture if it appears damaged in any way.
In the unlikely event that your product develops a fault, please contact CORE Lighting
Technical Support or your local Authorised Distributor. Do not attempt to effect repair
yourself.
Note:
Restrictions apply to transporting this equipment due to the lithium ion batteries
having capacity greater than 100Wh. Please consult IATA Packing Instructions 967
and CORE Lighting Ltd for further information.
