User manual
1. General warnings
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing our product. Carefully read the instructions
before installing and/or using the appliance
•
It is recommended to have all installation and adjustment operations
performed by qualified personnel.
•
Once the product is removed from the package check its integrity. If the
product is damaged, do not use it and contact the Cordivari assistance
network.
•
Before making any connection make sure the supply voltage
corresponds to the voltage stated on the characteristic label placed
on the appliance.
•
For Class I appliances make sure that the domestic electrical system
has a correct ground connection.
•
Make sure that all power circuits are disconnected before making any
connections. Refer to local regulations for electrical networks.
•
If the power supply cable is damaged, contact the manufacturer or its
technical assistance service to have it replaced, or, in any case, have
the operation carried out by a person with similar qualification in order
to prevent any risk.
•
WARNING - To avoid hazardous situations for little children, it is
recommended to install the product so that the lowest heating tube is
at a height of at least 600 mm from the ground.
•
Children aged between 3 and 8 are only allowed to turn the applian
-
ce on/off, provided that it has been placed or installed in the normal
intended operating position and that they have been supervised or
instructed on safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards
involved. Children aged between 3 and 8 must not connect, adjust,
clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
•
WARNING - Some parts of this product may become very hot and
cause scalding. Pay extra care when children or vulnerable people
are present.
•
Unsupervised children under the age of 3 must be kept at a safe
distance from the appliance.
•
This appliance must not be used by children under the age of 8 and by
people with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities, or with
no experience and the required knowledge unless they are supervised
or they have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance and
have understood inherent hazards.
•
This appliance is not designed to be used by people (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities, or with no
experience and the required knowledge unless they are supervised
or they have received instructions on the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
•
Children must be supervised to make sure that they do not play with
the appliance.
•
Cleaning and maintenance operations must not be carried out by
unsupervised children.
•
Do not install the device near curtains, other flammable materials,
fuels or pressurised containers.
•
Drying washed fabric on the Electric Radiators is not recommended.
•
In case of accidental overheating and/or misuse, the heating element
circuit can be cut off. In this case, the radiator is no longer usable and
must be replaced.
•
The radiator must be positioned so that the electronic control can
perfectly detect the room temperature, far from external heat sources.
•
Do not unscrew the valve on the radiator.
1.1 Manufacturer’s responsibility
The manufacturer declines any liability for damages to persons and
property caused by:
•
use of the appliance other than intended;
•
non-observance of the user manual instructions;
•
tampering with even just one part of the appliance;
•
use of non-original spare parts.
1.2 Disposing
At the end of life, this appliance must be deposited in the
special collection centres for recycling, it is not an ordinary
household waste. In case of replacement, the radiator can
be sent to your distributor.
Managing in this way, the end of life of a product allows
us to preserve our environment, to limit the use of natural resources.
This symbol on the product indicates the obligation to deliver to the
end of his life to a collection point specialist, in accordance with
Directive 2012/19/UE.

3. Technical characteristics
Retrò Electric Radiators Cordivari version:

4. Notice for the end user
To clean coloured radiators, use only non-abrasive cloth dampened with
water.
To clean the stainless steel radiators you can use a non-abrasive cloth
dampened with water and methyl alcohol diluted to 50%. Do not use
detergents or aggressive substances. Avoid any acidic or basic solutions,
industrial chemicals or other substances, corrosive or abrasive materials
(bleach, ammonia, soda ...) Do not use abrasive sponges or cloths.
5. Notice for the installer
The product purchased is subject to the general rules of warranty so as
written in the official Cordivari Catalogue in force. The warranty starts from
the date of delivery and is void if the indication of the production lot is modified
and / or removed. The guarantee shall be effective after examination of
the defects and their relevant causes. The material to replace or repair
must be delivered at the retailer warehouse . The obligation to provide
