GENERAL SAFETY
1.
Read these instructions carefully before putting the appliance into
operation and keep them somewhere safe.

The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the
envisaged purpose. This appliance is not intended for heavy
commercial use. Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from
sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never submerge it in any
liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use this appliance with wet hands.
If the appliance is wet or in unsuitable conditions unplug it.

When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and
always pull out the plug from the socket. Do not use this product
without full knowledge/experience of how it functions. If you should
leave the area where the appliance is being used, always turn the
product off.
4.
Make sure that children cannot gain access to the appliance
especially during use.
5.
Check the appliance and the cable for damage regularly. Do not
use the appliance if it is damaged.
6.
Do not attempt to make repairs to the device. Always contact a
qualified technician.

SPECIAL SAFETY
1.
WARNING! The ironing base becomes hot very quickly and takes
a long time to cool down. Please do not touch it.
2.
Some smoke may be emitted at first use, this is not a fault.
3.
When the iron is not in use it should be placed in its stand. Ensure
that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.
4.
Always unplug the iron when filling it with water. Never fill it with
more than 1 beaker full.
5.
Let the iron cool completely before packing it away.
6.
The iron must not be left unattended while it is switched on.
7.
Do not use this appliance if it has been dropped or has any signs
of damage.
