2. System requirements

Congratulations on the purchase of the external USB2.0 enclosure for SATA 2.5”
CoolBox SlimChase disks. The housing offers a simple and quick way to
expand the storage capacity of your equipment. Please read this user manual
carefully before using the device.
Hardware: Desktop or laptop computer with USB port 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0.
NOTE: In order to use the maximum transfer speed, it must be

4. Device configuration
· Connect the 2.5“ SATA disk to the internal SATA port of the enclosure and
assemble it using the supplied screws.
· Connect the housing to the USB cable and this to the USB port of the PC.
· The computer will detect a new hardware device.
No special drivers are needed to operate the unit, with the operating systems
indicated in the section "System requirements". When you connect the unit to
the PC, it will recognize the device and con fi gure it automatically, in order to
start working with it.
IMPORTANT:
When you want to disconnect the unit from the computer, it is advisable to
stop using the device from the icon that appears in the taskbar. If you unplug
the hard drive without stopping it in advance, it may cause data loss or
damage to the hard drive information.
