15.
When using electric appliances and devices, especially in the pres-
ence of children, basic safety precautions should be observed in or-
der to avoid the risk of fire or electric shock.
16.
Do not immerse the power cord, its plug or the device itself in wa-
ter or any other liquid, so as to avoid electric shock.
17.
Do not use the device with an extension cord. If, however, you are
prepared to accept responsibility for doing so, use an extension cord
in good condition that is adequately grounded and matches the de-
vice’s electric current rating.
18.
Do not hang the power cord over a table or sink edge.
19.
The power cord should not hang freely or touch any hot surface.
20.
Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable fabrics (curtains,
carpets), do not position it next to sources of high temperature: gas
heaters, electric cookers.
21.
Before using the device, ensure that the mains voltage matches the
voltage specified on the device label.
22.
Extend the power cord before using the device.
23.
Always disconnect the device from the power source when you are
not using it. Also, disconnect the device prior to cleaning, assembly
and disassembly. Do not approach any moving parts during oper-
ation.
24.
Do not cover the device during operation. Otherwise (if the device
is covered or touches a flammable material) there is a risk of fire.
25.
The device must be supervised at all times when connected to the
mains.
26.
Do not operate the device if it has fallen from a great height or
shows any sign of damage.
27.
Do not attempt to open the housing or disassemble any part of the
device.
28.
Use only the accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
