the tank.
7. Damaged power
supply cord.
8. Too much moisture
or room is too cool.
Possible Cause
1.1 Power outlet or supply is faulty.
1.2 Wrong voltage.
2.1 Motor has overheated (safety
cutout).
3.1 Comfort control knob is off.
3.2 Tank is empty or nearly empty.

Remedy
1.1.1 Check the power supply.
1.1.2 Check the power outlet.
1.2.1 Check that the power supply is the same as
that specified on the appliance’s rating label.
2.1.1 Wait 30-45 minutes for the motor to cool down. It
should restart automatically. If this condition
persists, take the cooler to a service agent.
3.1.1 Turn the comfort control knob to ‘on’.
3.2.1 Fill the tank with water until the water reaches the
maximum water level mark (13 litres).
3.3.1 Clean the parts. See Maintenance section.
3.4.1 The pump is not a separate electric pump. It is
connected to the fan and motor and is driven
mechanically. Turn the cooler off and drain the
tank completely. Refill with clean water. Switch fan
knob to high speed, turn the cool knob to ‘on’
and run the cooler for 10-15 minutes. This will
help to flush out the dirt. The pad should now be
wet. If the pad is not wet then the pump is still
clogged and you should have the cooler checked
by a service agent.
3.5.1 Replace the drive belt. See Maintenance section.
4.1.1 Drain the tank and fill the cooler with clean water.
If the odor persists, clean run the cooler for 10-15
minutes then repeat the process. If the odor still
persists, clean the tank and clean or replace the
cooling pad.
4.2.1 Add vanilla essence or perfume to the water.

replaced by an authorised service agent.
8.1.1 Reduce the fan speed and/or turn the water off.
See Operation section.
1.3.1 Electrical parts must only be repaired and
replaced by Authorised Service Agents.
Clean the parts. See Maintenance section.
