SETUP KEYCHAIN REMOTE TO BASE UNIT ADDRESS
Your keychain remote was setup to your receiver at the factory. If you need to reprogram your
existing remote or are adding or replacing one follow the instructions below.
1. Power up the base unit and remove the cover of the base unit with a small Phillips screwdriver.
2. On the backside of the keychain remote depress the ADD button with a paperclip and RELEASE (If
working properly a blue light in the window will blink Note on some models the blue light will be located
on the front of the transmitter.).
3. Flip the keychain remote over and press and release any single button.
THEN WAIT UNTIL THE BLUE LIGHT STOPS BLINKING AND PROCEED.
4. Go to the base unit and push the black button. The red LED will begin to flash for 15 seconds.
5. Again press and release any single button on the keyfob.
6.The red LED will stop flashing. YOUR UNIT IS NOW READY TO USE.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The Keychain remote uses a standard CR2032 Lithium button cell battery. In normal use, it will provide
1-2 years of operation. To replace the battery, gently pry apart the 2 halves of the remote.
Remove the battery by sliding it out from underneath the retainer. Observe the battery polarity when
replacing. Once the battery is replaced,
