Overview
The Contemporary Research ICC1-TC Tuner/Controller is a full featured ATSC/NTSC HDTV tuner with an integrated display controller. The
ICC1-TC will tune ATSC air, clear QAM cable, and NTSC air and cable channels. The low-profile design allows for mounting behind flat panel
displays.
The ICC1-TC Tuner/Controller features an HDMI output with video scaling from 480i to 2160p.
Front panel controls are available for channel selection, volume, power, and menu. The unit may also be controlled by the optional HD2-RC
IR remote via the front panel IR sensor or remote IR sensor connected to the rear panel IR port.
When used as part of an RF based iCC-Net control system, the tuner will respond to power, channel and volume commands and the
integrated display controller may be used to control power and source selection on the connected display device. The ICC1-TC
tuner/controller has an onboard control database of RS-232 protocols for many common flat panel displays and video projectors. The
display type may be selected when configuring the unit.
The iCC-Net commands are received over the same coax cable as the source channels from an ICE-HE-DXL display control center. The
control interface may be the Display Express Lite application included with an ICE-HE-DXL Display Control Center, Display Express software,
or a third-party control system.
