Ethernet settings
The preinstalled type’s product Ethernet display and the OS Ethernet recognition status are shown
below.

The LAN recognized names are set to match the language selected during initial Windows setup.
The above are the LAN recognized names when Japanese was selected during Windows setup. Even
if you change the language in Windows later, the LAN recognized names will not change
automatically. If you want to display the LAN recognized names to match the language, you need to
change the settings manually.
If changing the network settings, select [Control Panel]
→
[All Control Panel Items]
→
[Network and
Sharing Center], and you can set them in [Change adapter settings]. The preinstalled type’s factory
default network settings are shown below.
