4. Functions
This chapter explains the function that can be achieved by hardware and driver's combinations. The
driver indicates the thing of API-VNA(WDM) as long as there is no annotation.
Error Compensation Function
This product is equipped with the following error compensation functions, which correspond to different
usage applications.
- Normalize
- Transmission full calibration
- Reflection Calibration
Normalize
Directly connect the OUT and IN terminals to compensate the frequency response.

Transmission Full Calibration
Use a load that has a known value (Open, Thru, or Load) to compensate for errors caused by factors
such as crosstalk, errors caused by impedance non-conformance between the signal source and the
measurement terminal, and frequency response errors.
