Before Using the Product
This chapter provides information you should know before using the product.
About the Board
This product is an expansion adapter (bundled with a 1m connection cable) that connects an
ExpressCard slot on a notebook computer to a PCI bus expansion chassis.
The adapter operates on Windows Vista or XP.
Features
- PCI bus (5V/32bit 33MHz) slots can be added to a notebook computer via its ExpressCard.
When an optional expansion chassis is connected, PCI bus (5V/32bit 33MHz) expansion slots can be
added to the notebook’s ExpressCard. The product comes with a connection cable (1m), which can be
used to connect ExpressCard with the expansion chassis.
- Expansion chassis can be selected according to your use.
An expansion chassis can be selected according to the number of slots needed for the PCI bus as well as
the board size.
- Power-ON/OFF control of the expansion chassis can be linked to that of your PC.
As your PC is turned ON or OFF, the expansion chassis can also be turned ON or OFF, accordingly.
