Intended use
The tyre pressure control system is intended for monitoring and displaying of the tyre pressure
in vehicles.
The display unit is solar-powered, but it can also be charged using a USB interface.
The display unit should be protected from damp and wet conditions.
Any use, other than that described above, may lead to damage to this product and involves
other risks, such as short circuit, fire, electric shock.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All names of
companies and products are the trademarks of the respective owners. All rights reserved.
Package contents
(see section “Includes” in the original instructions in English)
Explanation of symbols
This symbol indicates specific risks associated with handling, function and use.
The “hand” symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety instructions
Read the entire operating instructions carefully; these instructions contain
important information for proper operation.
Damage due to not following these operating instructions will void the war-
ranty! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty/
guarantee will be void in such cases!
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the prod-
uct is not permitted. Individual parts may be damaged and can therefore impair the
function or safety of the vehicle.
• The display unit is charged via the built-in solar cell. However, it can also be
charged using a USB interface. Never connect the display unit to any other volt-
age supply. Use only batteries to supply the sensors with current.
• The system is intended only for additional monitoring of the tyre conditions; it does
not absolve the driver from practising due diligence. Make sure that driving safety
is not affected at any time.
• You should react immediately and stop when the system triggers an alarm. Con-
tinue driving only after the problem has been reliably fixed.
• Check the tyre pressure at regular intervals with a suitable pressure gauge (e.g. at
a petrol station). The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages due to a faulty
display.
• Check regularly that the sensors are screwed tightly onto the valves. To do this,
spray soap water over the valves with the sensors to detect a possible leak.
• Do not use damaged or inoperable sensors. This may lead to a loss of pressure in
the tyres.
• This product is not a toy; it is not suitable for children. Children are not aware of
the potential dangers involved when using electrical devices.
• If in doubt about how to connect the product correctly, or should any questions
arise that are not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our
technical service or any other professional expert.
Installation and operation
When installing the sensors, pay attention that you do not damage the tyre
valves and their threads. The sensors must only be fastened hand-tight.
Lack of attention in traffic can lead to serious accidents. Therefore, you must
program the tyre pressure control system only while stationary, when you are
not distracted from what is happening in traffic.
Installation of the display unit
(see section “Display installation” in the original instructions in English)
(1) Fasten the display unit inside the vehicle using the Velcro tape provided. The display unit
should be placed such that the driver can easily read and operate it.
(2) For the initial start-up, the display unit should be charged via a USB interface. To do this,
connect the provided USB cable to a USB-cigarette lighter adapter or a USB port. When
the rechargeable battery is flat, charging takes about 4 - 6 hours.
If your vehicle is going to spend a long time parked in a dark environment (e.g. in an un-
derground garage), it may be necessary to charge the display unit in the aforementioned
manner in the meantime.
The display unit switches off automatically after a while when no movement is de-
tected. This serves to prevent the rechargeable battery from being unnecessarily
discharged. When the display detects a movement again (upon departure), it auto-
matically switches on again.
In normal operation, the display lighting is dimmed, likewise to spare the recharge-
able battery. In the case of an alarm or if you press a button, the display lighting is
switched on at full brightness.
For lasting maintenance of the battery capacity, it is recommended to discharge the
display unit every 6 months (cover the solar cell on the top of the display unit until the
battery warning appears in the display) and then fully charge it as described above.
Sensor installation
(see section “Sensor installation” in the original instructions in English)
(1) Unscrew the valve cap.
(2) Slide the dust proof cover supplied onto the valve stems.
(3) Screw the supplied lock nuts on the valve stems.
(4) Screw the sensors onto the tyre valves:
F.L. = front left / F.R. = front right / R.L. = rear left / R.R. = rear right
(5) Secure the lock nut to the sensor. Use the screw wrench provided for this purpose.
(6) Check air leakage by spraying some soapy water on the valve. Then slide the dust proof
cover back towards the sensors.
We recommend rebalancing the tyres after the sensors have been installed, as the
weight of the sensors may affect the balance of the tyres.
Functional test after installation
(see section “Functional test after installation” in the original instructions in English)
(1) At speeds of more than 20 km/h, the display unit shows the real-time data of the tyres.
(2) The installation process was successful when the data of all four tyres is displayed on the
display unit.
If data of one or more tyres is not displayed, the sensor(s) must be recoded (see
“Sensor coding” below in this manual).
Possible displays
(see section “Different scenarios” in the original instructions in English)
During an alarm, a signal noise sounds and the tyre symbol of the affected tyre or a
warning symbol flashes on the display unit.
Pressure loss
The tyre pressure display and the symbol of the affected tyre flash.
Excessive
pressure
The tyre pressure display and the symbol of the affected tyre flash.
Temperature Alarm The tyre pressure display shows flashing "HI" and the symbol of the
affected tyre flashes.
Battery warning for
sensor
The position of the affected sensor flashes.
Battery warning for
display unit
The rechargeable battery symbol flashes.
Sensor error
In the display for the affected sensor, no display appears for the tyre
pressure and the symbol of the affected tyre flashes.
If a sensor error is displayed, recode the sensor (see section “Sensor coding”).
