Operation
1. The power supply of the product is provided either by USB or three AAA batteries. As required, read the
chapter “USB connection” or “Inserting/replacing batteries”.
2. Place the product on a stable surface or attach the product with the clamp mounting to a stable object
(e.g. music stand, desk etc.).
Make sure that the LED music stand light is attached to a stable object. Otherwise the LED
music stand light or the object could be damaged.
3. Put the swivel arm in the desired position.
4. Switch the product on or off by pressing the on/off switch on the lamp head. When doing so observe the
following sequence:
Press 1x
one lamp comes on
Press 2x
both lamps come on
Press 3x
the LED music stand light goes out
USB connection
1. Connect the round plug of the USB cable to the power supply jack on the lamp base.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power supply source (5 V/DC, at least 100 mA).
You can operate the LED music stand light with the USB cable while batteries are in the battery
compartment.
Insert/replace the batteries
1. Switch off the product using the on/off switch and disconnect it from the USB power supply source.
2. Open the battery compartment and remove the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert three AAA batteries with the correct polarity into the battery compartment. While doing so observe
the polarity instructions inside the battery compartment.
4. Reattach the battery compartment cover and lock the battery compartment.
The product can be operated for approx. 20h with the supplied batteries.
Maintenance and cleaning
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they
can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Except for an occasional cleaning, the unit is maintenance free. The LED lights used are securely built-in
and cannot be exchanged.
• Before any cleaning the product is to be switched off and disconnected from the power supply. Then let
the product fully cool down.
• For cleaning all you need is a dry, soft and clean cloth. Do not press too hard on the casing as this can
lead to scratches.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used (rechargeable) batteries;
disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal
in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the
trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores
or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment.

Intended use
The LEDs of the music stand light emit a soft white light. The direction of the light can be adjusted using the
two flexible swivel arms. The LED music stand light can be easily mounted almost anywhere with the clamp
mounting. The power supply is provided by USB or three AAA batteries.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and
keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
• Attention, LED light:
- Do not look directly into the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the (rechargeable) batteries.
• (Rechargeable) batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period
of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged (rechargeable) batteries might
cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle
corrupted (rechargeable) batteries.
• (Rechargeable) batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave (rechargeable)
batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
• All (rechargeable) batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new
(rechargeable) batteries in the device can lead to (rechargeable) battery leakage and device
damage.
• (Rechargeable) batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
c) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.
