f) Entering the place of residence
With this function, you can enter the name of your place of residence.
For this purpose, proceed as follows:
• Keep the button "SET" (3) on the right side depressed (approx. 3 seconds) until "
LAND EINST.
" (=set country,
"
COUNTRY

• With the buttons "

b
" (2), select the country (e.g. "D/GER" for Germany) and confirm your selection
by briefly pressing the button "SET" (3).
Now the display shows "
STADT EINST.
" (set city, "

").
• With the buttons "

weather forecast data.
• Press the button "MEM" (9) briefly. Now the previously displayed city name disappears and a blinking line "_"
appears in its place for the input field.

- "SET" button (3): save character/numeral and jump to the next position
- "TEST" button (8): jump back one spot (correction)
• The entry is finished automatically when you case the last letter at the right end of the input line by briefly pressing
"SET" (3).
Alternatively, the entry is terminated beforehand if no character is selected at an input position (only the line "_"
blinks) and then pressing the button "SET" (3).
g) Switching the weather information for day/night
The weather station switches the display for day/night weather information automatically depending on the sunrise/
sunset time. A small "DAY" or "NIGHT" indicator appears for this purpose on the display next to the weekday.
You can display the respective other value for 10 seconds by briefly pressing the button "DAY/NIGHT" (5).
h) Storm alarms
The "METEOTIME" signal contains additional information about special weather conditions (e.g. strong gusts of
wind, ice rain, heavy snowfall, thunderstorms, dense fog, foehn, etc.).
The display shows the symbol "
" if such data is received.
By pressing the button "DAY/NIGHT" repeatedly, you can display these messages as text messages on the display.
In case of several messages, the symbol belonging to the respective day blinks, and the warning is displayed.
The weather station additionally displays the current message alternating with the normal display.
