• Open the connection compartment at the bottom with a screw

driver.

• Connect the low-voltage plug of the power supply unit to the

socket “DC JACK”. (see Figure B right)

• Insert the antenna in the connection “ANTENNA” (see Figure

B right)

• Close the connection compartment by re-attaching the lid.

• Switch on the Additional Radio Alarm Siren by bringing the

“ON/OFF” switch in to the position “ON”. The LED “ON”

Acquiring of the Additional Radio Alarm Siren by the
alarm receiver

After correct installation and connection of the Additional Radio Alarm Siren, the radio alarm
siren can be acquired by the radio alarm receiver.

Proceed as follows to programme the radio alarm siren to the alarm system:

• Make sure the Additional Radio Alarm Siren is supplied with power and switched on (“ON/OFF”

switch must be in position “ON”).

• Open the connection case at the bottom with a screw driver.
• Press and hold the “LEARN” button in the connection case. The radio alarm siren emits beeps,

you are in the acquisition mode. The LED “ON” blinks.

• Press the “ARM” button of your Additional Radio Alarm Siren and enter the master code, while

keeping the “LEARN” button of the Additional Radio Alarm Siren pressed.

• As soon as the acquisition is completed the Additional Radio Alarm Siren  stops beeping and

a long beep can be heard. The LED “ON” stops blinking and goes out.

• Close the connection compartment.

Behaviour in the event of an alarm

As soon as the Additional Radio Alarm Siren triggers an alarm the Additional Radio Alarm Siren
also emits an acoustic alarm (a short delay is possible; depending on the operating conditions).
In the event of an alarm, the LEDs “LO BATT”, “ON” and “ARM” blink.

The acoustic alarm can be stopped by e.g. deactivating the alarm system.
Please note the operating instructions of your alarm system.

Replacing the battery

If the battery is low, the LED “LO BATT” flashes. In this event, the internal 9V battery should be
replaced to further ensure correct operation.

• Remove the housing cover at the rear side by removing the screws.
• Take out the used 9V battery and replace it by a new one of the same type.
• Insert the battery in the provided battery case.
• Re-attach the housing cover and fasten the  screws.
