Intended use
The stainless steel solar wristwatch indicates the time in hours, minutes and seconds.
It is powered exclusively with a solar cell together with a built-in capacitor, which serves as energy storage.
Any other use than the one described above may lead to damage to the product and involves other risks,
such as shorts, fire, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt.
This product complies with the applicable national and European legal requirements.
The safety instructions should be observed without fail.

General safety instructions
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversions and/or modifications to the product are
not permitted.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children. It is not a toy.
• Do not expose the product to high temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical loads.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may be dangerous for children to play with.
• Also observe further safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating guide.
• If you have any doubts about the correct operation or the safety of the product, please consult a specialist.
Safety notes on the built-in capacitor
• Keep capacitors out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave capacitors lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by children or
domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged capacitors can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective
gloves.
• Make sure that the capacitor is neither short-circuited nor thrown into a fire. This could lead to a risk of
explosion.
Operation
☞
The watch has a built-in capacitor, which continues to supply the watch with energy even in
complete darkness. When the capacitor is fully charged, the power reserve is ca. 60 hours.
The watch should not be left in a completely dark environment for a longer period of time.
If possible, wear the watch on top of any clothing to ensure its sufficient exposure to daylight.
If the watch stops, place it preferably near a window. Direct sunlight recharges the capacitor
most efficiently.
Fully charge the built-in capacitor, which serves as energy storage for the solar cell, before the first use.
• Pull the crown (A) into position 2.
• This stops the clockwork and the capacitor can be recharged more quickly.
• Lay the watch with the clock face facing upward in preferably bright daylight.
• The charging duration in relation to the light intensity can be found in the following table:

Setting the time
• Pull the crown (A) into position 2 and set the current time by turning the crown.
• Press the crown (A) back into its normal position 1 after setting the time.
Shortening the strap
• For minor adjustments, move the spring peg on the catch into another hole.
• If larger adjustments are necessary, one or more links can be removed from the strap. To do so, please
contact a clockmaker, who has suitable tools for this kind of work.
Water tightness
Please take note of the labelling on the watch and its meaning.

Shock Resistance
In normal use, the wristwatch is protected against shocks. Nevertheless, do not expose the device to
extreme shocks such as might occur if the device falls onto a hard surface. This may damage the clockwork
or change the positions of the hands.
Maintenance and Cleaning
To clean the outside of the watch, a dry, soft, clean cloth is sufficient. For heavier soiling of the exterior, you
can moisten the cloth slightly with lukewarm water.
Clean the watch very carefully; otherwise you may scratch it.
Do not press too strongly on the glass cover, as this may cause scratch marks.
Disposal
Please dispose of the unserviceable product according to the current statutory requirements.
