Intended Use
This wireless inbuilt dimmer is intended for turning connected consumer loads on or off, either
manually via a push button on the device or via a suitable remote switch (e.g. 1-channel wire-
less wall switch).
The wireless inbuilt dimmer is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
Power is supplied to the wireless inbuilt dimmer via 230 V/AC, 50Hz. An resistive load from
40 W up to a maximum of 300 W can be connected.
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. These
instructions not only protect the device but, in particular, your health. Please read the entire
operating manual before using the product.

• The unauthorized opening, conversion and/or modification of this product is not
permitted because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the product
emits only relatively weak radio signals, these may lead to the malfunction of life-
support systems. The same may be the case in other areas.
• Power is supplied to the wireless inbuilt dimmer via 230 V/AC, 50 Hz. An resistive
load from 40 W up to a maximum of 300 W can be connected. The wireless inbuilt
dimmer is not intended for inductive loads.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore,
be especially careful when children are around. There is a risk of a lethal electric
shock!
• The wireless inbuilt dimmer is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
• Never touch the wireless inbuilt dimmer with wet or damp hands. There is a risk of
a lethal electric shock!
• Make sure that the connections for the wireless inbuilt switch are voltage free
during installation.
• An all-pole disconnection from the mains voltage (such as a surge protector) must
be provided as part of the wiring set-up.
• Do not overload the wireless inbuilt dimmer (take note of the input power in the
technical data at the end of the operating manual!).
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
• If the product casing is damaged, do not use the product any more! When it is
connected to the mains, do not touch the wireless inbuilt dimmer or the connected
device! Make sure the radio installation dimmer is disconnected from the power
supply. Take the product to a specialist workshop or dispose of it in an environ-
mentally friendly way.
Installation and Connection
The wireless inbuilt dimmer is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
The wireless inbuilt dimmer is suitable, for example for flush-mounted
sockets Ø68 mm (e.g. Conrad item no. 624926 or item no. 612132). Before the
wireless inbuilt dimmer can be installed, it must be connected.
Make sure that the connections for the wireless inbuilt dimmer are voltage
free during installation.
The connection cables must not be kinked or squeezed. This can result in
malfunctions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure that cables or wires are not damaged when drilling or bolting in
place.
Connection:
Power is supplied to the wireless inbuilt dimmer via 230 V/AC, 50 Hz. An resistive load from
40 W up to a maximum of 300 W can be connected.
Make sure the the power supply cables are voltage-free during connection.
Terminal clamp for the wireless inbuilt dimmer:

• Insert the wireless inbuilt dimmer into a suitable flush-mounted socket (e.g. flush-mounted
sockets Ø68 mm item no. 624926 or item no. 612132).
Programming the wireless inbuilt dimmer to recognise a
wireless remote switch
• Switch the power supply to the wireless inbuilt dimmer on. The LED on the wireless inbuilt
dimmer starts to flash.
• Press the button „I“ on the wireless wall switch or the corresponding „ON“ button e.g. on
a wireless remote control, before the LED stops blinking. The LED on the wireless inbuilt
dimmer goes out. The programming has been completed successfully.
Programming the wireless inbuilt dimmer to recognise multiple
wireless remote switches
Up to 10 radio channels can be programmed for the wireless inbuilt dimmer.
• Press the „ON/OFF Learning Code“, on the wireless inbuilt dimmer, until the LED starts
blinking red.
• Press the button „I“ on the wireless wall switch or the corresponding „ON“ button e.g. on
a wireless remote control, before the LED stops blinking. The LED on the wireless inbuilt
dimmer goes out. The programming has been completed successfully.
Deleting programmed wireless inbuilt dimmers from a remote
switch
• Press the button „I“ and „O“ on the wireless wall switch simultaneously, or the buttons „ON“
and „OFF“ (this applies e.g. to a radio remote control) for the switching channel to which the
wireless inbuilt dimmer was programmed. The LED on the wireless inbuilt dimmer then starts
blinking.
• Press the button „O“ on the wireless wall switch, or press the buttons „ALL-ON“ and „ALL-
OFF“, on a remote control, simultaneously. The LED goes out. All wireless inbuilt dimmers
have been deleted successfully from the remote control.
To delete one single wireless inbuilt dimmer from the remote control, press
the corresponding OFF button for the switch channel, to which the wireless
inbuilt dimmer was programmed, instead of pressing the buttons „ALL-ON“
and „ALL-OFF“.
