DMX mode
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the controller.
This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the effect light responds. The remaining control
channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires one or three free DMX channels depending on operation mode.
Simple DMX mode
• Press the button MODE (1) until the display (4) shows “d1”. “d1” means that the device is in simple DMX mode.
• The display (4) alternates between “d1” and the DMX starting address. It can be changed with the buttons
UP (2) and DOWN (3).
In this operating mode, the effect light only receives signals from one DMX channel. The DMX signals
from the controller are output unchanged at the DMX OUT (6) port, so that subsequent effect lights are
controlled synchronously.
The purpose of this simple DMX mode is providing even users with little DMX experience with a simple
control option via a DMX controller.
