Getting Started
• Connect the round low voltage plug of the power adapter included in delivery to the corre-
sponding socket on the back of the LED desk lamp.
Then plug the power adapter into a standard wall socket.
• Place the LED desk lamp only on an even, stable, and suf
fi
ciently large surface.
☞
Protect the surface of valuable furniture by using an appropriate underlay, otherwise
it may cause scratches or pressure marks.
• Touch the area labelled “
” brie
fl
y several times in order to
toggle between the following modes:
- Full brightness
- Low brightness
- Switched off
• Position the LED desk lamp so that your working area is optimally illuminated.
The lamp head gets hot around the LED. If you want to change the alignment of the
LED desk lamp, do not touch the lamp head, risk of burns!
Maintenance and Care
• The LED desk light does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for
any reason. The LED bulb used is permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
• Before carrying out any cleaning of the LED desk lamp, the lamp must be switched off and
disconnected from the mains voltage. Disconnect the power adapter from the mains socket.
After this, allow the LED desk lamp to cool down suf
fi
ciently.
• The exterior of the LED desk lamp should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
Do not press too hard on the surfaces, as scratches might appear.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Handling
Ꮨ
• The product is only to be used in closed, dry indoor locations. The product must
not get damp or wet! There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room to
a warm one. The condensation that forms might damage your unit. The power
adapter also poses a risk for a potentially fatal electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature, before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it into use. This may take several hours.
• Avoid the following adverse conditions at the installation location and during trans-
portation:
- Excessive humidity or damp
- Extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight, proximity to heaters
- Dust or
fl
ammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations, impacts or blows,
-
Strong
magnetic
fi
elds such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loud-
speakers
• Any maintenance or repair work may only be performed by an authorised repair
shop.
• When setting up the product, ensure that the cables are neither bent nor squeezed.
Place the cables in a way so that nobody can trip over them.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
