Intended Use
• Connection and operation of extra-low voltage consumers with an operating volta-
ge of 3V – 15VDC for model SPS 1525/1540 PFC or 1V – 15V for model SPS 1560
PFC to the connecting jacks
• The power consumption of a connected consumer may not exceed 25 A for the
SPS1540 model, 40A for the model SPS1540 and 60 A for the 1560 model.
• The switched-mode mains power supply is designed in compliance with protection
class 1. It is only approved for connection to shockproof sockets with protective gro-
unding and an alternating current of 230V~ /50 Hz commonly used in households.
• Operation is impermissible under unfavourable ambient conditions. The following
are unfavourable ambient conditions:
- Moisture or excessive humidity
- Dust and combustible gases, vapours or solvents
- Thunder and lightning or similar conditions such as strong electrostatic fields etc.
Use other than that described above will damage the product and may involve other
risks, such as short circuit, fire and electric shock etc. Do not change or modify any
part of the product. The safety instructions must always be heeded!

Utilisation en conformité
• Anschluss und Betrieb von Kleinspannungsverbrauchern mit einer Be-triebsspan-
nung von 3V - 15 VDC bei Modell SPS 1525/1540 PFC bzw. 1V - 15V bei Modell
SPS 1560 PFC an den Anschlussbuchsen.
• Die Stromaufnahme eines angeschlossenen Verbrauchers darf 25A bei Modell
SPS1525, 40A bei Modell SPS1540 und 60A bei Modell 1560 nicht überschreiten.
• La construction du réseau d’alimentation appartient à la classe de protection 1. Il
est exclusivement prévu pour le branchement à une prise de courant à un conduc-
teur de protection avec protection mise à la terre et une tension alternative dome-
stique de 230V~ / 50 Hz.
• La mise en marche de l’appareil ne doit pas s’effectuer dans des conditions d’en-
vironnement défavorables. Exemples de conditions défavorables :
- Présence d'eau ou humidité relative de l'air trop élevée
- Poussière et gaz inflammables, vapeurs et dissolvants.
- Orage ou conditions orageuses, champs magnétiques intenses, etc.
Toute utilisation autre que celle décrite précédemment provoque l'endommagement
de ce produit. De plus, elle entraîne l'apparition de risques de courts-circuits, d'in-
cendies, d'électrocution, etc. Toute transformation ou modification de l'ensemble de
l'appareil est interdite. Les consignes de sécurité sont impérativement à observer.
