Handling

•  Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold to a warm room.

This can cause condensation which may, under adverse circumstances, destroy the device.

•  Let the product first reach room temperature. This may take several hours.
•  Do not open the enclosure! Have maintenance or repair services done by a specialist

workshop only.

•  Avoid the following adverse conditions at the location where the product is placed, and during

transport:

 - wetness or high humidity
 - extreme cold or heat
 - dust or flammable gases, vapors or solvents
 - strong vibrations
 - strong magnet fields, such as near machines or speakers
 - When installing/operating the product, make sure the USB cable does not get twisted, bent

or squeezed.

Maintenance and cleaning

•  Disconnect the microscope camera from the power supply.
•  Occasionally check the optics of the microscope camera, and remove any dust or dirt.
•  Use a proper lens-cleaning tool, such as a clean soft brush. Do not apply pressure to the

optics/mechanism, as it might otherwise get damaged or the lens could get scratched.
