Veillez à la propreté des contacts des accus et du chargeur.
Protégez le chargeur du rayonnement solaire direct et qu’il soit
mouillé. Evitez une trop forte humidité de l’air.
Protégez l’appareil contre tout contact avec des huiles, des produits
graisseux, des détergents agressifs, des diluants; ils pourraient
endommager le boîtier.
Déconnectez toujours l’appareil des accus, de la batterie d’alimen-
tation ou du réseau en cas de non utilisation, de nettoyage ou d’en-
tretien de l’appareil. Grâce à l’enrouleur de câbles au dos du boîtier,
on évite un emmêlement éventuel des câbles, en cas de non utilisa-
tion de l’appareil.

- To ensure a safe operation, the operator must observe the safety
instructions and the warning notes contained in this operating
instructions.
- Make sure that no part of the insulation (of the device or the
cable) is damaged or destroyed.
- Defective fuses may only be replaced by a specialised electrician.
- Only operate the Battery Charger when the housing is securely
closed and the screws are tightened.
- Keep the Battery Charger out of the reach of children!
- Observe the safety regulations laid down by the professional
trade association for electrical equipment and installations in
industrial and commercial facilities.
- Battery Chargers and accessories used at schools, training facili-
ties, do-it-yourself and hobby workshops should not be handled
unless if supervised by well-instructed trained personnel. Only
operate the Battery Charger when the housing is securely closed
and the screws tightened.
- Do not operate the Battery Charger unattended.
- Avoid an operation under adverse environmental conditions. This
would damage the delicate electronics in the Battery Charger and
is therefore a potential risk to the operator’s life. Adverse environ-
mental conditions are:
- high humidity (> 75 % relative humidity in air, condensing)
- dampness
- dust or inflammable gases, vapours or solvents, benzene
- excess ambient temperature (> approx. +40°C)
- strong electromagnetic fields (motors and transformers) or
electrostatic (charges) fields.
