PHONO1 and PHONO2 input (34)
Two stereo cinch inputs PHONO1 and PHONO2 are available. You can connect your
record player to these stereo cinch inputs. The PHONO inputs have been conceived
for record players with a magnet system. No high-level sources such as tuners,
CD players or similar may be connected here.
DJ-MICRO1 input (20) and MICRO2 and MICRO3 microphone inputs (35)
Three microphone inputs DJ-MICRO1, MICRO2 and MICRO 3 are available. You
can connect your microphones to these 6.3-mm mono jack bushings.

Both high and low-resistance microphones can be connected to
these inputs.
GND earth screw terminals (29)
If your record player has its own earth (usually a thin, black cable with clamp-type
socket), connect this to the earth terminal (29). This helps to avoid buzzing interfer-
ence.
Connecting the outputs
OUTPUT A and B output (32)
Two stereo cinch outputs OUTPUT A and OUTPUT B are available. Connect the
output amplifier here.
Use a free cinch input of your amplifier (e.g. AUX) as input.
The white cinch output jack of the mixer is connected to the left amplifier input.
The red output jack of the mixer is connected to the right amplifier input.
REC 1/2/3/ outputs (31)
Three stereo cinch outputs REC 1, REC2 and REC 3 are available. Recording
devices such as, for example, cassette decks and tape recorders can be connected
to these jacks.
If you wish to record the output signal of the mixer with a cassette deck, connect the
recording input of the cassette deck here.
The white output jack of the mixer is connected to the left recording input.
The red output jack of the mixer is connected to the right recording input.

(32) OUTPUT A/B outputs (MASTER)
The same signal is pending at the two unsymmetrical stereo cinch outputs, OUTPUT
A and OUTPUT B. The OUTPUT signal (MASTER signal) is the mixed audio output
signal of the mixer. The output amplifier is connected to these jacks.
(33) INE 1-6 input
High-level cinch signal sources such as, for example, tuners, CD players, video
recorders, MP3 player etc. can be connected to these six unsymmetrical stereo
cinch inputs.
LINE1 is pending at the fader channel 3 (CHANNEL 3)
LINE2 is pending at the fader channel 4 (CHANNEL 4)
LINE3 is pending at the fader channel 5 (CHANNEL 5)
LINE4 is pending at the fader channel 5 (CHANNEL 5)
LINE5 is pending at the fader channel 6 (CHANNEL 6)
LINE6 is pending at the fader channel 6 (CHANNEL 6)
(34) PHONO 1 and 2 input
Record players with a magnet system can be connected to these two unsymmetrical
stereo cinch inputs. The phono inputs have an integrated equaliser pre-amplifier.
PHONO1 is pending at the fader channel 3 (CHANNEL 3)
PHONO2 is pending at the fader channel 4 (CHANNEL 4)
(35) MOCRO 2 and 3 microphone input
Further microphones can be connected to this 6.3-mm jack bushing in addition to
the DJ microphone. The input is suitable for unsymmetrical signal activation.
MICRO2 is pending at the fader channel 1 (CHANNEL 1)
MICRO3 is pending at the fader channel 2 (CHANNEL 2)
(36) START CH3 and CH4 – start switch
A switch contact is led through at these 6.3-mm mono jack bushings and is closed
when the associated slide control CHANNEL 3 or CHANNEL 4 is pushed upwards.
Only in the "zero position" position 0) of the slide control is the contact open. This
possibility can be used to allow, for example, record players or CD players automat-
ically when the control is pushed up.
This functions only, however, when the connected device (signal source) possesses
a correspondingly suitable START feature.
To be able to use the feature, the corresponding mixer jack bushings START CH3 or
CH4 are connected to the start switch input of the reproduction device (e.g. CD player).
