9. Setting up the Transmitter
In the operating instructions, the numbers in the text always refer to the figure opposite or the figures within
the section. Cross-references to other figures will be indicated by the corresponding figure number.
a) Inserting the Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries
For the power supply of the transmitter you will need 8 alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries mignon size (AA).
For ecological and also for economical reasons it is recommended to use rechargeable batteries, since they can be
recharged in the transmitter via a built-in charging socket (see fig 2 item 24).
To insert the batteries or rechargeable batteries, please proceed as follows:
The battery compartment lid (1) is located on the back
of the transmitter. Lift the lid in the middle of the lower
edge and fold it open upwards.
Remove the battery holder (2) and insert 8 batteries or
rechargeable batteries in the battery compartment. Al-
ways make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct.
A corresponding label (3) is located at the bottom of
the battery compartment.
Once you have inserted the full battery holder back into
the remote control close the lid of the battery compart-
ment and let the locking mechanism click into place.
Important!
The battery holder has 2 snap-in pins (4) which must point upwards when the holder is inserted so that
they can snap into the battery compartment guides.
The battery compartment is fitted with a polarity protected BEC plug-in connector which is connected
inside the transmitter battery compartment.
It is not usually necessary to remove the plug when inserting batteries or rechargeable batteries.

Régler l’affection du levier de commande :
• Allumez l’émetteur at attendez la fin de la procédure de binding.
• Validez la touche « Enter » pour accéder au menu de
programmation.
• L’option de menu « ELEV » et la valeur réglée « REV » clignotent.
• Sélectionnez la fonction de commande « STICK MOD », à l’aide
de la touche de saisie « UP/DN ».
• Vous pouvez alors, à l’aide de la touche de saisie « L/R »,
sélectionner entre les Modes 1, 2, 3 ou 4.
• Pour enregistrer la valeur réglée, validez de nouveau avec la
touche « ENTER ».
• Pour quitter le menu de programmation, actionnez la touche
« EXIT ».
Attention, dans les modes 1 et 3, vous devez modifier le mécanisme d’enclenchement du levier de
commande Pas du coté gauche vers le côté droit. La procédure exacte a été décrite au chapitre « Mise en
service du modèle réduit d’hélicoptère », sous la section : « Modification de l’affectation du levier de
commande de l’émetteur ».
