In a cascade configuration, any port on the MASTER can be
used to cascade to the CONSOLE ports of the SLAVE.
For example: To select a computer which is connected to port
#5 on the SLAVE, when port # 1 of the MASTER is used as the
daisy-chain port, press and release the left CTRL key twice,
then press and release the #1 key, then press and release the
#5 key. (See Figure 8.)

A slave MUST have an equal or less number of computer ports
than the master. Do not attempt to configure a slave with more
ports than its’ master.

The SUN keyboard / mouse cable will connect to the
corresponding Mini-DIN 8 CONSOLE port.

Each SUN computer is connected to the
Master-IT SUN
KVM
switch
with one straight-through (1-1, 2-2, 3-3…, 8-8) mini-DIN8
cable and one male-to-male HDB-15 VGA cable.
For SUN computers that have 13W3 video ports, a
13W3(male)-to-HDB-15(female) adapter is required. It will be
connected from the computers’ video port to the HDB-15 cable
(Connect
