1 Introduction
1.1 OVERVIEW
The IEEE 802.15.4 OEM Module, cB-OZS311, from connectBlue
has been developed for integration in industrial devices
providing state of the art low power features. The module
minimizes the work needed to implement IEEE 802.15.4 in a
device as it provides all software, hardware, type approval, EMC
certification etc. It is developed for reliable, high demanding
industrial devices and applications and requires no host driver.
The cB-OZS311 module is available in different versions and are
all based on the PCB cB-0922-02 (see section 1.4).
The cB-OZS311 module is a complete IEEE 802.15.4
implementation. No external driver is needed. The IEEE 802.15.4
module has a small form factor and the interface layout is the same as the Bluetooth and
Wireless LAN modules from connectBlue, which enables customers to prepare their device for
both IEEE 802.15.4, Bluetooth and/or Wireless LAN.
