Chapter 4 Software Installation

Power on your computer and modem and then start Windows 98/2000.
Windows 98/2000 will detect the modem automatically.

4.1 Windows 98

When you see the message of

V.90 modem with USB interface

appearing,

insert the driver CD came with the modem. Then click

Next

to search for the

driver.

Select

Search for a suitable driver for your device [Recommended]

and

click

Next

to continue.
