BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
•
Remove all labels and stickers from the appliance.
•
Wash the frying basket (3) and the fry pot (4) with hot water (note: the
frying basket (3) can be washed in the dishwasher).
•
Wipe the appliance thoroughly from the inside and outside with a cloth.
Warning
: The amount of oil you use should always be between MINimum
and MAXimum levels, otherwise the appliance could be damaged (Fig. 1).
PREPARATION FOR USE
•
Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface (do not place the appliance on a flammable surface).
•
Place the frying basket (3) in the fry pot (4).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
•
Place the appliance in a dry, level place.
•
Press the handle (1) at the bottom to open the lid of the appliance (Fig. 2).
•
Remove the frying basket (3) out of the fry pot (4).
•
Pour 2-2.5 l of oil into the fry pot (4) so that its level is between the MIN and
MAX lines and close the appliance.
•
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
•
Select the desired temperature (6) and set the rotary control (8) to the ON
position.
•
The indicator light (7) lights up and the oil starts to heat. Once the oil is
heated to the required temperature, the indicator light goes out.
•
Insert an appropriate amount of dry food into the frying basket (3), carefully open the lid of the appliance and insert
the frying basket. Close the appliance lid.
•
Dip the frying basket in oil using the sliding button on the handle (1). And select the frying time by turning the time
selection knob (8).
•
When the frying is finished, you will hear a sound signal. Use the sliding button on the handle to remove the frying
basket from the oil and only then open the lid of the appliance.
Note
: When working with hot oil always proceed with extreme caution!
TIPS
•
If you are planning to fry more types of food, start with the food that needs the lowest temperature for frying.
•
Do not overfill the frying basket as this may cause the temperature of the oil to drop significantly and the result of
frying may not be optimal.
•
Always use quality vegetable oils. We recommend changing the oil after the sixth use of the appliance at the latest
(or after 2 weeks of storage).
