SELECTING THE INTENSITY LEVEL
The intensity level designates the power of the pulsed light applied to your skin during treatment. The power ranges
from the lowest (1) to the highest (5) level. The light indicator indicates the selected intensity level. If you increase the
power, the results will be better, but the risk of side effects increases (see chapter Possible side effects).
Warning:
If you do not experience any abnormal reactions or discomfort within 48 hours of the test treatment, you can
select the power level of the epilator for the first treatment according to the table below:
•
Skin phototype I and II - For the first treatment, set the appliance to a maximum of the 3rd intensity level. If you do
not experience any problems, you can gradually increase the intensity to level 4 and then to level 5 over the next few
treatments.
•
Skin phototype III and IV - For the first treatment, set the appliance to a maximum of the 2nd intensity level. If you do
not experience any problems, you can gradually increase the intensity to level 3 and then to level 4 over the next few
treatments.
•
Skin phototype V - For the first treatment, set the appliance to a maximum of the 1st intensity level. If you do not
experience any problems, you can gradually increase the intensity to level 2 and then to level 3 over the next few
treatments.
•
The IPL epilator is not suitable for people with skin phototype VI.

Before using the appliance, read the entire instruction manual and select a safe power level (see the
