CHAIR ADJUSTMENTS FOR 3142r1 HIGH BACK CHAIR
SEAT ADJUSTMENT
The seat tilt locks into seven positions; slightly forward, level and five reclined.
TO UNLOCK
•
Locate the gray button under the right side of the seat.
•
Push the button in and release. DO NOT push in and move; wait for the chair to unlock.
NOTE – you will hear a loud clicking noise, indicating the chair has been unlocked
•
Lean back, then forward to release the pin. The chair will be in a free float mode.
TO LOCK
•
Determine the desired position.
•
Push the button in and release.
NOTE – you will hear a loud clicking noise, indicating the chair has been locked into one of the
7 positions.
TENSION ADJUSTMENT
•
Locate the large round knob under the seat on the front of the tilt mechanism.
•
Turn the knob counterclockwise to reduce the recline tension.
•
Turn the knob clockwise to increase the recline tension.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
• Locate the paddle under the right side of the seat.
• Rotate the paddle to raise or lower the seat. NOTE: You must remove your weight when raising
the seat.
