Wiring Detail
Green: (-) Door Lock Wire Output
- This wire provides a half second negative output for triggering the vehicle’s locks or Firstech alarm
arm. This wire is not required in Type 2 installations.
Red: (+) 12 Volt Constant Input
- This is the constant power for the DR-1000. It carries a 15 amp fuse and must be connected to the
vehicle’s constant (+) 12 Volt source.
Blue: (-) Door Unlock Wire Output
- This wire provides a half second negative output for triggering the vehicle’s unlock or Firstech
alarm disarm. This wire is not required in Type 2 installations.
Black: (-) Ground Input
- Connect this wire to the vehicle’s chassis ground.
White: (+) Alarm Trigger Input
- When this wire receives a 3 second (+) 12V trigger it will send an alarm triggered notification to the
web interface and user’s smartphone. This wire is not required in Type 2 installations.
Yellow: (+) Ignition Input
- Connect this wire to the vehicle’s ignition output. This wire should see (+) 12V when the vehicle’s key is in the
“on” position. This wire is not required in Type 2 installations unless connecting to a Mercedes DC.
Brown: (-) 0.5 Second Alarm Trigger Input
- A half second negative trigger on this wire will send and alarm triggered notification to
the web interface and user’s smartphone. This wire is not required in Type 2 installations.
