Maintenance Checklist
The following checklist is intended to address general maintenance. This checklist
should be used as a springboard to develop a suitable checklist for your specific
playground and particular needs.
It does not
provide a complete safety evaluation.
Playgrounds that have been properly engineered and properly installed may still present
risks of accident or injury to the children who use the equipment. Also, be reminded that
adult supervision is a vitally important contributor to the overall safety of the children
who use the playground.

other obstacles in the play or surrounding areas.
