In order to check if the IP address
has been assigned correctly to
your PC, simply go to the Start
menu, select Run, and enter the
command winipcfg.
Select your respective Ethernet
Adapter from the drop down list
and click OK.
For Windows XP/2000
Go to your desktop, click on My Network Places icon and select Properties.
Go to your network adapter icon,
right click and select Properties.
