After the plug is fully seated on the jack, the locking ring on the plug should be turned
clockwise until the ring cannot be turned further.

To remove the connector for cable storage, push inward on the locking ring and turn the ring
counter clockwise to release the locking mechanism. Then pull the connector straight out of
the jack. Hold the chrome barrel of the connector rather than the cable.
