4.0 Troubleshooting

include acting as a device server and/or Modbus RTU/ASCII to Modbus TCP

protocol converter; extending serial communication distance via TCP/IP; replacing

existing COM and TCP hardware devices; expanding the capability of existing COM

and TCP/IP control software; and analyzing TCP/IP and COM network with the

built-in IIoT "Packet Sender", "Ping", "Resolve IP Address/Host Name", "COM Port

State LEDs", "Debugging" and "Checksum Calculator" tools. The Serial-TCP

program is also very useful when converting exiting RS232/RS485/RS422 serial

networks (e.g. Modbus RTU) into TCP/IP networks (e.g. Modbus TCP). The Serial-

TCP supports all major Windows OS including Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP,

both 32 and 64 bits.
