 Installing the Recessed Kit

Flip up and squeeze the spring-loaded clips against the junction box, as shown,  holding the spring loading  
clips tightly and insert the recessed kit (A) into the hole, junction box first. 

When the clips reach the hole edge, release them and push up the recessed kit (A) until both clips flip down 
onto the ceiling surface.

Turn on the light.

Place all wires and connections into the junction box and close the cover.

Troubleshooting

Care & Cleaning

Clean the fixture with the cloth (C) provided.

Do not use cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.

WARNING:

 Before doing any work on the fixture, disconnect power to the light fixture by turning the 

breaker off or removing the fuse from the fuse box.

CAUTION:

 Before attempting to clean the fixture, disconnect the power to the fixture by turning the 

breaker off or removing the fuse from the fuse box.

The light cannot be turned on.

The power is off.

Ensure the power supply is on.

The circuit breaker is off.

Ensure the circuit breaker is in the on position.

A wire is not properly connected.

Check to ensure proper wire connections
are made. Contact a qualified electrician.

The switch is defective.

Contact a qualified electrician.

The fuse is blown or circuit
breaker is tripped when turning
on the light.

The wires are crossed or the
power wire is ground out.

Check the wire connections.
Contact a qualified electrician or call
Commercial Electric customer service at 
1-877-527-0313.

The remote control does not
work and no indicator light is on.

The plastic battery strip has not been removed.


Remove the plastic strip (FF).

The battery power is off.
The battery is not installed correctly.

Make sure the battery CR2450 is installed
correctly and still has power.

The remote control cannot 
Touch-Link the light successfully.

The plastic battery strip (FF) is not removed. Remove the plastic battery strip (FF).

The devices need more time to respond.  Wait a second and try again.

Touch-Link has been linked with 20 
downlights and has reached the max limit.
The downlight has been linked with 
another remote control.

Reset the light to factory default.

The remote control cannot 
control the lights.

The downlight has not been linked 
successfully.

The light is out of control range.

Make sure the light is in control range.

The remote control cannot 
Touch-Link the light after the 
indicator blinks for 60 seconds.

The remote control does not

capture the light.

Retry the Touch-Link process.

The indicator is blinking 
constantly after resetting the 
remote control. 

The remote control has been reset 
to factory default.

Press any button to stop the indicator from  
blinking. Repeat the linking process.

The remote control fails to unpair the  
light when the indicator is blinking.

The devices have failed to respond 
to the steps of the unpairing process.

Press any button to interrupt the indicator
blinking and retry the unpair process.

Reset the remote control and try again.
