When Modular Matrix Switcher 16x16 connects to the RS232 port of a computer with
control software, users can control it by that computer. To control the switcher, users
need to use RS232 control software.
4.3.2. RS232 Communication Commands
With this command system, users are able to control and operate the Modular
Matrix Switcher 16x16 with RS232 software remotely.
Note:
1. Please disconnect all the twisted pairs before sending command
EDIDUpgrade[X].
2. In the
commands, “[”and “]” are symbols for easy reading and do not need to be
typed in actual operation.
3
. Please remember to end the commands with the ending symbols “.” or “;”.
4. Type the command carefully, it is case-sensitive.
5. Commands pertaining to EDID only avails for signal cards that support EDID
management.
6. Modular Matrix Switcher 16x16 boasts 6 in-built EDID data, the chart below
