A.2.6. Laser pointer
During installation, the reflector is positioned with the help of the laser pointer built into the E / R.
This pointing function is independent and does not require an external power supply.
To activate the laser pointer: press the button and hold for more than a second, then release.
To deactivate the laser pointer: press the button again. If the button is not pressed, it will deactivate automatically after
20 minutes.
A.2.7. Securing the reflector
Once the zone indicated by the laser pointer has been identified, deactivate the pointer or block the laser beam to
prevent it from reflecting into the eyes of the installer while it is fixed in place.
Caution:
The smooth surface of the safety reflector must be directed outwards.
Switch off the pointer as soon as you have identified the point indicated by the laser beam.
The reflector is secured in 2 steps:
Step 1:
securing the safety reflector support.
Use screws with a maximum diameter of 4 mm to secure
the safety reflector support to the wall.
Step 2:
safety reflector coupling.
The smooth surface of the safety reflector must be directed
outwards (i.e. towards the E / R).
A.2.8 Securing the E / R part
After the electrical connections have been carried out on the 9- and 10-pole terminals, fit these terminals in the
corresponding positions on the back of the E / R.
Encoding on the base (ref. 10 in the nomenclature) allows correct positioning when fixing the E / R part to the base.
A.3.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Once the base has been fixed to the wall, carry out the electrical connections; make sure you use a power supply
which conforms to the electrical specifications contained in this manual.
For information regarding electrical connections, please refer to the table below and the installation sheet at the end of
this document.
